New Image Women's Bible Study

New Image meets every Wednesday morning during the school year.

There is small group time along with whole group teaching.

Daycare is provided during that time at the church.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

Men are invited for breakfast the first Saturday of each month.

There is time for fellowship, Bible study and prayer.

Sunday Morning Sunday School

After church during the school year is our Educational Hour.

There are classes for all ages.

Wednesday Family Night

During the school year, Wednesday's are family nights at Christ Is Lord.

There are programs for each age group.

The night begins with a simple supper for $1.

Ecclesia Prayer Night

The first Wednesday of each month is reserved for corporate prayer.

Come together with fellow believers in prayer to the Lord.

Adult Bible Study

This group meets once a month in homes.

They are currently studying John McArthur's book Hard to Believe.

YAMS - Young Adults - Married & Single

YAMS meets the first Saturday of each month.

Youth Ministries

Encounter

Encounter meets Wednesday nights.

Students from 7th grade through 12th grade are welcome.

D.I.G. - Develop In God Bible Study

This discipleship group meets every other Sunday.

Faith On Fire is a drama ministry of Christ Is Lord

Children's Ministries

Sunday Morning Sunday School

After church during the school year is our Educational Hour.

There are classes for all ages.

Wednesday Family Night

During the school year, there are classes available for young children

Vacation Bible School

For one week during the summer, we have VBS.

Children from age 12 and down are welcome to participate.

Our Emphasis on Ministry

Four Areas of Ministry:

1. Faith

• We need to be a Biblically literate church

Head & heart knowledge - know the Word & live the Word

• We need to be a praying church

• We need to be a disciple-making church

• We need to be a tithing church

2. Families

• Recognizing strong marriages = strong families

• Teaching purity principles

• Training men to be spiritual leaders

• Training women to understand the headship principle

• Making as many church events as possible - for the whole family

3. Fellowship

These should be scheduled as well as spontaneous

• Youth & College Fellowship

• Family Fellowship

4. Fields

Local

• Members intentionally witnessing and inviting

• Holding regular evangelistic meetings

Foreign

• Members partaking of short-term mission trips

• Every family supporting missions with their offerings
